Drawing

The two drawings for Design 32/3Db for the Buckley class destroyer escorts dated November 18, 1944. The vertical colors were: light gray (5-L), ocean gray (5-O) and navy blue (5-N) and the deck was solid deck blue (20-B) with no pattern. By the use of navy blue, thus lowering the overall reflectance and contrast, this might properly qualify as Measure 32a, but it was labeled Measure 32. These drawings have deleted the whaleboat from both side views. At least five destroyer escorts (all in the Atlantic) used this design in late 1944 or early 1945.

Original drawing sources: NARA BS 100386 and BS 100387.
