Drawing

The 32-33/3D(ex) drawings for the Evarts class destroyer escorts dated September 1, 1944, the “ex” was for experimental. The vertical colors were specified to be: dull black (BK), ocean gray (5-O) and light gray (5-L), on the starboard side for Measure 32. The port side used the vertical colors of navy gray (5-N), haze gray (5-H) and pale gray (5-P) for Measure 33. The stern view shows the two medium colors, 5-O from the starboard and 5-H from the port meeting at the middle of the stern. These drawings were produced for the camouflage tests that were to be performed in October 1944; however, since apparently no Evarts class destroyer escorts were used in the tests these drawings were not used.
