The drawing for Design 32/2C for the Sims class destroyers, but could be used by other single-stack destroyers classes. The vertical colors specified were: dull black (BK), ocean gray (5-O) and light gray (5-L), but if haze gray (5-H) were subsituted for light gray, this would be Measure 31. This drawing was dated February 16, 1944. The drawing stern view was left blank, probably intending the 5-O from both sides to meet on the stern.
A drawing for Design 2C was attached to the July 15, 1943, memo to PacFleet for the heavy cruiser San Francisco CA-38. Design 2C can be seen carried by the
Brooklyn class light cruisers USS St Louis (CL-49) and USS Honolulu (CL-48). It was also used with slight modifications on many destroyer escorts of the John C. Butler class.
