Baltimore Shipyard was sent drawings labeled Measure 32 Design 1F for AK-225 and Measure 33 Design 1F for AK-226 at the same time on August 24, 1944. AK-225 seems to have painted in 33/1F as well as AK-226, possibly by mistake.
USS Allegan (AK-225) from the port side in the Chesapeake Bay on September 29, 1944, wearing camouflage 33/1F and the vertical colors here appear to be navy blue, ocean gray and pale gray. Allegan was sent a drawing labeled Measure 32 on August 24, 1944, but was painted in these Measure 33 colors. Photo source: NARA BS 72318.
