A speedletter on 11/1/44 from Portland, Oregon Shipyard to BuShips listed APA-165 through APA-180 would be painted 32/6A for odd numbered ships and 32/4T for even numbered ships. BuShips on 11/14/44 approved APA-165 through APA-174, but said plans for APA-175 through APA-180 would follow later.
