This is the pair of drawings for the John C. Butler class that showed the Admiralty Type “A” on starboard and Admiralty Type “D” on port camouflage designs to be used in the design tests in 1944.  The drawings were dated August 19, 1944.  The British color G-45 was closest to USN 5-L, B-55 was similar to USN 5-P, G-20 was close to USN 5-H and B-20 was between USN 5-O and a light navy blue (5-N.)  These drawings were used to apply camouflage to the USS Kenneth M. Willet (DE-354).
