Footnotes

A memo from Atlantic Air Force Command (ComAirLant) to Commander in Chief Atlantic Fleet (CincLant) on 2/19/44 recommended the use of Measure 32 for Atlantic based CVE's. Then on 2/22/44 BuShips sent a letter to ComAirLant outlining the changes to camouflage 32/4A which had been for CV-6; subsequently 32/4A was redrawn for CVE-9 and CVE-55 classes and sent on 4/8/44 to ComAirLant.
Puget Sound Navy Yard was sent 33/14A for CVE-104 on 8/4/44, but replied on 8/12/44 that the camouflage could not be applied because CVE-104 had left.
